Hataroid (Atari ST Emulator)

Hataroid is an (in development) Android port of the open source Atari ST / STE and Atari Falcon emulator Hatari.

Source code is available on github (see the help screen).

- If you find a disc doesn't work, please try it out on the desktop version of Hatari 1.70 with the same settings first as there should be no difference in compatibility between Hatari and Hataroid. If they work differently, please let me know.

If you can help out with art, code or suggestions, please do so.

Required permission:

- read/write external storage. This is needed to read files from sdcard on newer versions of android (will later need this anyway for save state support).

- Current features include:

- Atari ST / STE support

- Color/Mono monitor support

- On screen controls and virtual keyboard supporting all the Atari keys

- Fully scalable and moveable screen and keyboard

- Mouse emulation

- Audio emulation

- Zip file support

- And lot's more...!

As it's written in portable C, you need a minimum 800mhz (>1000mhz recommended) device to get full speed. This shouldn't be an issue with any devices produced in the last few years.

This is still being actively developed, and there's a lot of features on the pending list, so let me know if you want anything pushed up in priority.
